“ Let me start by saying that I'm from San Diego. We've got Mexican food of all ranges there: up-scale and casual, corporate and mom and pops, long-established and up-and-coming. This place ain't sexy but it's got that good warm feel to it and the food makes you feel right at home. Kinda takes you back a few decades when you eat there: cash only, old menus, worn down but clean tables, friendly staff. It's not for everyone but it was for my family and me when we went. ”
